MRTS is proud to announce the development of Koha Plus!, a special edition of the standard release of Koha with added updates and features.  Koha Plus will always be Open Source and will always be available via SourceForge.net.

Koha Plus! is not a fork, but is a way for us to release our improvements to Koha that have not yet been integrated into the main repository of Koha. We will work hard to get our improvements into the official version of Koha and will strive to keep Koha Plus! up to date with the latest versions of Koha to maintain compatiblity.

Koha Plus! Features:

• An alternative fines generator for Koha that creates fines for an item when it is returned instead of creating many small fines each night.
• A system for tracking rotating collections that move between libraries.
• The ability to pay fines by amount ( an alternative to the all-or-nothing approach used in standard Koha )
• Support for using book covers via LibraryThing for you OPAC and Intranet.
• A Clubs & Services system to manage reading clubs and create custom mailing lists.
• A Google-style search page for the OPAC.
• Extra MARC editor plugins.
• Reverse Payment ( Adds ability to cancel a fine payment. ). Now part of standard Koha.
• Quick Spine Label Printer ( For use with dedicated label printers ) Now part of standard Koha.
